Ceddy ''Dopekeyz'' Joseph

Ottawa native, Ceddy ‘’Dopekeyz’’ Joseph aka Mr. 6ixlanta is a self-taught musician. He started to take classical piano lessons at the age of 5. As a teenager, he taught himself how to play piano by recognizing chords and watching musicians he would hear at church. In High school, Ceddy was able to translate his musical skills by playing for the high school band where he was able to get recognized for his ability to compose his own instrumentals and score his own solos . With the high school band, he was able to gain experience playing at multiple festivals around the city (Franco-ontarien, Tulip festival & more ). Following High school, he joined a band where he acquired experience playing at numerous events such as festivals (Bluesfest), weddings, church services, clubs and private events. When the band decided to split up, Ceddy put his focus on beat making and producing. Ceddy was able to collaborate with a variety of artist and producers within Ottawa by bringing elements of TRAP music. His alter ego name Mr. 6ixlanta was created because he`s orginally from ottawa (613) and he was able to teach himself skills on how to make beats by studying the process of videos from producers of Atlanta such as Zaytoven, Cassius Jay , Metro boomin , London on da track, southside and more. In 2020, Ceddy has graduated from his Intro to music industry program at Algonquin college. He is now currently working on his own projects and feeding his music passion with Jazz studies that he can bring back to the universe.
